to launch the Decisions to Win Dropout Prevention Mentoring Program in Lee County high schools and to expand the program in Charlotte County high schools

Children's Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, Inc.

to expand the Family First prevention and early intervention program to two additional child care centers in collaboration with Child Care of Southwest Florida

Dress For Success SW Florida

to continue and expand the Entrepreneurial Sprit Program in Lee and Charlotte counties to provide education and mentoring for women interested in starting their own business and/or developing a strategic career path

Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida

to implement a coaching component to the Quality Rating Improvement System, called Southwest Florida Stars, to help child care providers improve teacher-child interaction which is key to overall quality improvement

Grace Community Center

to expand Grace Creative Solutions for Exceptional Entrepreneurs, which provides job training to special needs students by teaching all aspects of worm farming from production to marketing and sales

Gulf Coast Humane Society

to renovate housing and play areas for puppies at the shelter to create safe, free-roaming areas for puppies to socialize with the public and each other

Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida, Inc.

to implement the FOCUS Program, in Dunbar and Lehigh Acres, which is an evidence-based program to reduce repeat teen births and sexually transmitted diseases

Hendry County Library System

to implement the IHELP (Impact Hendry Employability Program) in collaboration with community partners to provide classes to unemployed, underemployed and small business entrepreneurs and provide access to additional technology resources

Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships

to continue the Point of Contact/Point of Rescue program, which trains businesses, law enforcement, and medical personnel to identify and report signs of human trafficking and which will be expanded to Hendry/Glades and Charlotte/DeSoto counties

Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida

to continue the collaboration between Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida and Boys & Girls Clubs in Charlotte and Lee counties to provide financial literacy activities to students in the afterschool program as well as during summer camp

Literacy Council Gulf Coast

to implement a collaboration with Edison State College to utilize Literacy Council tutors to provide additional remedial education opportunities and support services to students at Edison to improve student learning outcomes

Naples Botanical Garden

to develop and implement a therapeutic horticulture program at the Buehler Enabling Garden, which will include enrichment programs for individuals with Alzheimer's, the visually impaired, and students with autism and other special needs

P.A.W.S. Lee County Inc.

to renovate the recently purchased spay and neuter clinic, to include carpentry, plumbing and electrical work for division of space and to provide a sterile environment for surgeries

Pine Manor Improvement Association

to support the continued implementation of the Institute for Culinary Awareness, Research, and Education (ICARE) at Pine Manor, which includes a commercial Culinary Training Kitchen and community garden to provide training in the culinary arts and create job opportunities for residents

Redlands Christian Migrant Association

to provide iPad minis for students at the Immokalee Community School, which will be used for individualized instruction, learning, and assessment in math and science and will also be used to involve parents in their children's education
